Lifesongs

Do you have a "Lifesong" ?
I mean one that you always turn to when things are going bad?

Things in these parts are becoming increasingly hard with my brother.
Progression is rapid at this point, and Hospice told me last week that I HAD to make Mike's funeral arrangements! That was, by far, one of the hardest things I've ever done!

This is my lifesong. It has been ever since I saw Ray Boltz perform it many years ago.
It is giving me loads of comfort right now!

What's your life song?

Awe Jacki I'm so sorry to hear that you have to make arrangments, I'm sure that is very hard! Please know you and your family have been in my prayers daily!

Praying for you, sweet Jacki.
My lifesong is Be Still and Know by Steven Curtis Chapman. It has calmed my nerves on many occasion by serving as a great reminder that God has it all under control, even when I feel like things are uncertain.
I think you've just given me the topic for my next post. :)

I am so sorry about your brother ... my thoughts are with you.

I don't really have a life song ... but I do have a song I turn to ... Circle of Life from Lion King.

Knowing you're losing a loved one is so hard...sorry for your pain Jacki...A favorite song of mine is You Lift Me Up by Josh Groban...when I listen to it...I want to close my eyes and just breathe.
